Lobby services

The lobby service points of Turku Technology Properties Group in BioCity, ICT-City and TriviumCity serve all people in Turku Science Park. The lobby services receive guests of companies and organisations operating in the premises of Turku Technology Properties Group, serve conference guests, and forward requests for service and maintenance. The lobby services also take care of mail which can be collected from the lobby. The customers of Turku Technology Properties Group can also leave outgoing mail in the lobby where it will be picked up by the post.

Cleaning and security

The cleaning and sanitation of office premises and outdoor areas are taken care of by building maintenance professionals who ensure that the premises are in shape and everything is working. A pleasant, clean and safe environment is important to all those working in the area as well as the visitors.

Security and order in the premises and outdoor areas of Turku Technology Properties Group is the responsibility of a security guarding service, telephone 020 428 2000 (24 hours a day). For emergencies there are rescue plans for each building which include instruction in case of emergency. Links to the rescue plans of each building (in Finnish) can be found below.

Housing management, building maintenance and access control

The Managing Director of the real estate companies i.e. the Housing Manager in the buildings owned by Turku Technology Properties Group is Jani Jeromaa. His office can be found in Turku Technology Properties Group office in BioCity at street level, but the easiest way to reach him is by phone or e-mail, tel. 0400 218 852 or firstname.lastname@teknologiakiinteistot.fi.

Building maintenance and access control in the premises of Turku Technology Properties Group are handled by Are Oy. Maintenance requests can be sent on an electronic form which should be filled out as carefully as possible, so that the company can process it quickly. The sender’s details are requested for a possible contact. A maintenance request can be sent electronically here. In urgent cases you can phone Are’s service number (24 hours a day): 020 530 5700.

Parking and public transport

There are around 500 contracted parking spaces in building basements and yards in Turku Science Park. In addition, some 200 paid parking spaces for visitors are available in the BioCity indoor car park and in the yards of ICT-City and TriviumCity.

Turku Science Park offers excellent rail connections to Helsinki: the Kupittaa station is just a few minutes’ walk away from the buildings of Turku Technology Properties Group. The following buses go from Turku Science Park to the Market Square: 32, 32A, 42, 6, 600, 60 and 221. Business development and networking

Turku Science Park offers plenty of help for starting a business as well as business development. Business Service Center Potkuri in ICT-City provides practical advice to those thinking of setting up a business and helps with the paperwork, while start-up community SparkUp in ElectroCity offers sparring and accelerator programmes especially to high-tech and creative industry companies. Growth and development services and help with internationalisation is available from Turku Science Park Ltd which is based in ICT-City.

Contacts, ideas and free-from networking is on offer at events organised by Turku Technology Properties Group. Arranged in Conference Centre Mauno four times a year, the Business Breakfast events comprise of presentations and discussion on changing topics that benefit companies, while the Pre-Game networking evenings gather sports lovers to network at football or ice hockey matches.
