Teknologiakiinteistö-
jen tarina
Teknologiakiinteistöt was founded in 2010 out of a need to develop Turun Tiedepuisto. The attractiveness of the premises in the area had declined, and rents were stagnant. Ownership of the facilities was divided among several parties who competed for the same customers and did not want to invest in property development.
Where did it all begin?
One of the area’s major owners, the City of Turku, led by Teknologiakiinteistöt’s current CEO Mikko Lehtinen, saw the potential of the dormant area. Thus, it was decided to consolidate property ownership into one company, which began investing not only in premises but in the development of the entire district. This gave birth to Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt, whose goal was to make Turun Tiedepuisto the most attractive environment in Finland for companies and communities.
Today, the company has over 300 customers and owns approximately 188,000 square meters of leasable space in the Tiedepuisto and Itäharju areas. Teknologiakiinteistöt employs over 40 people whose goal is to make working life even better.
