Turun Tiedepuisto is home to a versatile and developing range of services that support the daily lives of those working, studying, and visiting the area. Excellent transport connections ensure that the Science Park is easily accessible from all parts of the city.
The area offers comprehensive restaurant and café services, meeting and event facilities, as well as wellness services that support everyday life. Daily commuting is facilitated by car and bicycle parking as well as electric vehicle charging options. In addition, the area features several restaurants, cafés, and a gym that support a comfortable and functional work and study environment.
Car parking
Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt has approximately 3,000 parking spaces in Turun Tiedepuisto, of which about 500 are for visitors. Contract parking spaces are located in the basements of BioCity, DataCity, EduCity, ICT-City, and As Oy Kupittaanpuisto, in ParkCity, and in the parking garage on Lemminkäisenkatu. In addition, there are contract parking spaces at Tahkoaukio, the Itäharju field, the parking garage behind TriviumCity, and in the basements under the Pihlajalinna hospital and CivilCity.
Visitor parking spaces can be found in the BioCity parking garage, ParkCity, the EduCity gravel field, the Tahkoaukio gravel fields, and the TriviumCity courtyard. Parking in Teknologiakiinteistöt's properties is managed by Aimo Park.
Electric vehicle charging
Electric vehicle charging stations are available in the parking garages of BioCity, DataCity, EduCity, ICT-City, and TriviumCity, as well as in ParkCity. The charging stations at BioCity and ParkCity are available for everyone visiting the area, while the charging points in other parking garages are for contract parkers only.
Bicycle parking
It is easy to arrive at the Science Park by bicycle, as there are plenty of frame-lockable bicycle parking spaces in the area. Frame-lockable bike parking spaces are located, among other places, in the area between ElectroCity and BioCity and in the area between EduCity and ICT-City. For Teknologiakiinteistöt's clients, lockable bicycle parking spaces available for monthly rent are offered in the bike parks of EduCity, ICT-City, and Entrance to the ParkCity parking garage from the outside, colorful facade, and driveways in the Kupittaa area In addition to a monthly contract, the ParkCity bike park can also be used via the Spacent app, which can be downloaded to your phone from the Apple Store or Google Play. It is possible to reach people using screens located in the area, the largest of which is a 15-square-meter LED screen in the heart of the Science Park at Jussinaukio. Kupittaa railway station is a couple of minutes' walk from the meeting rooms, and the journey from Turku Airport to Turun Tiedepuisto takes less than half an hour. The Helsinki motorway runs just 300 meters from the properties.
