Charge your electric car and bike in Turku Science Park

There are currently 120 active electric car charging spaces in Turku Science Park.

Electric car charging spaces are located in the parking garages of BioCity, DataCity, EduCity, ICT-City, TriviumCity, and ParkCity. The charging points in the visitor parking areas of BioCity and ParkCity are available to everyone visiting the area. The charging points in other parking garages are for contract parkers only. Next to all charging stations, you will find a QR code with more information about charging and the price list. Please only park in a charging space when you are charging.

  • ”Helpotamme yritysten siirtymää vähäpäästöiseen liikkumiseen tarjoamalla kattavan latausverkoston työpaikkojen yhteydessä. Lataus on tehty asiakkaillemme mahdollisimman helpoksi, kun auton voi ladata työpäivän aikana,” kertoo Teknologiakiinteistöjen palvelujohtaja Heidi Rantala.
  • Everyone visiting the area can use the charging points in the visitor parking areas of BioCity and ParkCity. When arriving for a meeting, event, or even the area's health services, you can arrive by electric car and charge it during your visit.

Do you commute by electric bike year-round? An active commute pays off, and now you can also charge your electric bike battery in the Science Park.

Seven electric bike charging stations have been installed in the Turku Science Park area. Charging is now even easier, as you can leave your bike battery in a charging locker during your workday or study day. Remember to bring your own charging cable. Charging is free of charge. You can park your bike safely, for example, in the ParkCity bicycle parking area on the ground floor of the building.

Charging stations are located in BioCity, DataCity, ElectroCity, EduCity, ICT-City, TriviumCity and ParkCity. They are situated in the lobby of each building, and in ParkCity, they are in the street-level bicycle parking area.

Using the charging locker is easy: follow the instructions on the screen, place the battery in an empty locker, and close the door. The locker is locked with a 4-digit PIN code entered twice. You can open the locker door with the same code. Charging is simple, and all lockers have clear operating instructions.

Parking and charging for electric cars and e-bikes are separate services. Parking is managed by AimoPark, and the charging stations are operated by Virta. The charging lockers are supplied by the Finnish company VivoTech Oy.
