Science Park’s restaurant selection expands: Pegasus Lemminkäinen to High Tech City

Turku Science Park gets a new lunch restaurant when Pegasus Lemminkäinen opens on August 10th in the High Tech City building at Lemminkäisenkatu 48. There are now two Pegasus restaurants in the area, as the nearest sister restaurant is located a stone's throw away in Kupittaanpuisto.

The restaurant on Lemminkäisenkatu is the sixth Pegasus restaurant and offers a versatile buffet lunch every weekday. The lunch includes a rich salad bar, soup, hot meals with side dishes, bread, drinks, as well as dessert, coffee, and tea. Special dietary requirements are also taken into account.

High Tech City previously housed the building's staff restaurant. With the new operator, the dining hall's seating capacity has been increased to 150 by utilizing the adjacent cabinet space. The space can also be booked separately as a meeting room outside of lunch hours.

– We brought a strong local restaurant operator into this space, which complements the Science Park area's lunch offerings perfectly. Another advantage was the possibility of breakfast and catering, says Toni Malkamäki, Account Director at Turun Teknologiakiinteistöt. Toni Malkamäki.

Pegasus Lemminkäinen’s breakfast buffet selection includes porridge and bread with various toppings, yogurt, fruit, as well as coffee and tea. The restaurant also offers catering services for needs such as meeting refreshments.

– Companies in the neighborhood have already asked if they can order catering for their meetings, and we are happy to meet this need as well, says Restaurant Manager Jenny Spoof.
