This is what Science Park workouts are like – watch the video

Did you know that Teknologiakiinteistöt organizes weekly Science Park workouts for its customers? Watch the video at the bottom of the page, where eight of our customers share what the workouts are like and why they are worth attending.

People have been exercising in Turku Science Park during the Science Park workouts organized by Teknologiakiinteistöt since 2020. The purpose of the workouts is to improve our customers' well-being and provide an opportunity to get to know other people working in the Science Park area.

The workouts are free of charge and open to everyone working in Teknologiakiinteistöt premises. The workout types range from TRIP indoor cycling to muscle conditioning and sound bowl relaxation. Variety is one of the many reasons why people attend these workouts.

– Here, you get to test sports you wouldn't necessarily try on your own, says Aino Ukkola from Business Turku in the video.

The workouts are led by instructors from M&M Kuntotalo and are held at the M&M Kuntotalo facilities on Lemminkäisenkatu or in Kupittaa Park during the summer.

– The best part of the workouts is that you can come train right nearby immediately after the workday. These give you a lot of energy and you get to try different types of classes, says Anna Ekblad from Reagena.

You can join the workouts regardless of how much you have exercised recently. Through training, you feel better and have more stamina at work, as Danila Vochev from Uniogen says.

– There are people of many levels here, and you can get used to it at your own pace. According to your own limits, and bit by bit, your fitness starts to improve, concludes Jukka Palomäki from Alten in the video.

To ensure as many Teknologiakiinteistöt customers as possible can join the Science Park workouts, they will be organized twice a week starting from January 2024. You can receive invitations to the workouts by subscribing to property bulletins for your workplace's building to your work email (note! the email address must be your work email so that we can verify your right to participate in the workouts).
